Fiat Abarth Avventura Highlights
Fiat launched the Abarth Punto Evo and Avventura powered by Abarth, which is called as its steroid infused hatchback and crossover. A powerful ‘Scorpion Stung’ 1.4-litre turbocharged T-Jet petrol unit gives out 145 BHP in Abarth Punto and 140bhp in Avventura. The cars get a 5-speed manual transmission to hit 100 kmph mark from 8.8 seconds (Punto) and 9.9 seconds (Avventura). Launched in 2014, Fiat Avventura is basically a Punto Evo with a raised suspension and added plastic cladding to give is distinct look. There are not too many cosmetic features, therefore the exterior remains almost like the Avventura other than the 16’inch scorpion style alloys that look fashionable and a couple of ‘Powered by Abarth’ on both the front doors and a red Scorpion badge on the engine cover under the bonnet. The interiors are identical to Avventura powered by Abarth and Avventura. The dashboard looks classy and elegant with dual tone grey-black combination. The grey bit on the dashboard is a soft touch material and the door pads get leather inserts. Just above the AC vents on the dashboard are three dials - a compass, pitch and roll which show the incline angle and the angle of approach. All this adds a techy feel to the car. There are hydraulic steering wheels that has given positive feedback for a normal drive. With refined drive quality, there is a ground clearance of 205 mm that make sure that there is no inconsistency. Abarth has given the Avventura a shot in the arm and if the customer is wanting a crossover with plenty of ground clearance and very responsive petrol engine, then this all-new Fiat is the best option for the customer.
