Prices for the Swift, a popular and beloved hatchback from Maruti Suzuki India, start at ₹8.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and reach ₹9.19 lakh for the top-end model, marking the official introduction of the highly anticipated CNG variant.
The latest Swift CNG comes in VXi, VXi(O), and ZXi. A reworked 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque in the Swift CNG.
In CNG mode, these figures drop to 69 bhp and 102 Nm, but the car is claimed to have 32.85 km/kg fuel efficiency, a 6% improvement over its predecessor.
