Following Actor Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor Buys Maybach SUV
Considering His Best Friend choice, Actor Arjun Kapoor brought home his brand new choice Mercedes-Benz GLS Luxury SUV. He already has a hugely expensive car collection and he again added this baby in his garage.
Back in June, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh took delivery of a Mercedes-Benz GLS luxury SUV. He took his best buddy Arjun Kapoor for a ride in the same. It seems like Arjun Kapoor liked the SUV. Both actors now have a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 in the same blue colour. The SUV costs a massive Rs. 2.43 Crores ex-showroom before any customization options. We do not know the customization options have both the actors opted for.
Arjun Kapoor owns a Land Rover Defender, Maserati Levante, Audi Q5 and a Honda CR-V. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh owns Lamborghini Urus and Urus Pearl Capsule Edition. Ranveer Singh also has a Jaguar XJ L, Aston Martin Rapide S and a Mercedes-Maybach S500.
The GLS600 is brought to India as a CBU or Completely Built Unit. It is an SUV but with design and luxury from Maybach. You can have it as a four-seater or a five-seater. The four-seater version gets two individual chairs in the second row and a refrigerator to store champagne bottles and silver champagne flutes. The five-seater version gets a bench seat and there is also a foldable armrest. The cabin of the GLS600 feels very premium because of the Nappa leather upholstery, wooden trims, massive panoramic sunroof, ventilated and massaging seats, ambient lighting and recline function for the seats.
Powering this gigantic luxury SUV is a 4-litre V8 engine that is twin-turbocharged. It is derived from AMG vehicles. In the GLS600, it is tuned to produce 558 bhp of max power and a peak torque output of 730 Nm. It is mated to a 48 Volt electrical system that provides an additional boost of 22 bhp and 250 Nm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Mercedes has worked on the engine and gearbox to suit the characteristics of the Maybach GLS600. So, the engine makes power more linearly and the gearbox shifts smoothly so that the occupants do not feel anything.
