"Important update on Hyundai car prices - SUVs see up to Rs 13,000 increase starting April 1st 2023. Learn more now."

There is news about a recent development in Hyundai's car prices that will impact potential buyers. From 1st April 2023, the prices of Hyundai SUVs have increased, resulting in a hike of up to Rs 13,000. It's important to note that not all variants have been affected by the same amount.
If we take the Creta as an example, the price increase varies from Rs. 0 to 7,000 for different variants. For instance, some petrol variants such as 1.4 DCT S+ DT, 1.5 MT SX Executive, and 1.4 DCT SX (O), as well as diesel variants like 1.5 MT SX Executive, have not seen any price hike.
For the other variants, the increase ranges from Rs. 3,000 for base E, EX, S, S+ Knight, and SX variants with 1.5L MPi petrol engines and a 6-speed MT. It's essential to keep in mind that the price increase differs for different models and their respective variants.
The price of the Hyundai Creta has been increased by Rs. 7,000 for most of its petrol and diesel variants. Specifically, all petrol variants equipped with a 1.5L MPi and IVT powertrain, such as the 1.5 IVT SX, 1.5 IVT SX (O), and 1.5 IVT SX (O) Knight, will see a price increase of Rs. 7,000. As a result, the petrol Creta range will now start from Rs. 10.87 lakh, which is slightly higher than the previous starting price of Rs. 10.84 lakh. The maximum price for the petrol variants, however, will remain the same at Rs. 18.34 lakh.
In the case of diesel variants, only the 1.5 MT SX Executive variant will not see any price increase. All other diesel variants, on the other hand, will have a flat Rs. 7,000 increase in price. As a result, the diesel Creta range will now start at Rs. 11.96 lakh, which is up from the previous starting price of Rs. 11.89 lakh. The maximum price for diesel variants will now be Rs. 19.20 lakh, which is slightly higher than the previous maximum price of Rs. 19.13 lakh. The percentage increase in price for the base 1.5 MT E diesel variant will be between 0.0% and 0.59%.
The prices of Hyundai's Alcazar and Tucson will be increasing in April 2023. The Alcazar's price will be raised by a flat Rs. 3,000 for all petrol and diesel variants, with a percentage increase ranging from 0.14% to 0.18% depending on the specific model. On the other hand, the Tucson SUV will experience a price hike ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 13,000.
The Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line will also see price hikes, unlike the Creta, with the base E 1.2 MT, S 1.2 MT, S (O) 1.2 MT, and S (O) 1.0 iMT variants receiving a uniform Rs. 3,000 price increase. Only the SX 1.2 MT and SX (O) 1.0 iMT models will have a price increase of Rs. 4,000.
The prices of automatic variants of Venue with DCT gearboxes such as S (O) 1.0 DCT and SX (O) 1.0 DCT have increased by Rs. 7,000. The percentage increase in petrol Venue prices ranges from 0.29% for S (O) 1.0 iMT to 0.62% for S (O) 1.0 DCT variants, with petrol Venue prices now starting from Rs. 7.71 lakh instead of Rs. 7.68 lakh. In the case of Venue diesel, only S+ 1.5 MT receives a hike of Rs. 6,000, while SX 1.5 MT and SX (O) 1.5 MT variants get a price hike of Rs. 7,000.
The percentage increase for Venue diesel ranges between 0.54% and 0.58%, and the Venue diesel price range now starts at Rs. 10.46 lakh as opposed to Rs. 10.40 lakh. The prices of Venue N Line variants have also increased by a flat rate of Rs. 7,000 as they both come with a DCT gearbox only. The entry-level N6 DCT variant of Venue N Line now costs Rs. 12.67 lakh compared to Rs. 12.60 lakh. All prices mentioned in this post are exclusive of shipping charges.
