Two Hyundai Upcoming Cars slated to launch in March 2023: Hyundai Verna 2023 & Alcazar

Hyundai Motor India has stated that the new-generation Verna sedan and upgraded Alcazar would be available very shortly. Although the former is set to go on sale on March 21st, the latter's release date has yet to be announced.

Reservations for both upcoming Hyundai cars are now open. Below are the essential specifications for these cars:

2023 Hyundai Verna

The new Hyundai Verna has dramatically better design, features, and mechanical advancements. In reality, the car has increased in size. It is now 4535mm long, 1765mm wide, and 1475mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2670mm.

It also receives three new exterior colour choices. The new Verna is powered by a 1.5L normally aspirated petrol and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, producing 113bhp with 114Nm and 160bhp with 253Nm, respectively.

The Verna will be the most powerful vehicle in its category thanks to the new turbo-petrol engine. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available. ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) technology is a significant feature enhancement.

2023 Hyundai Alcazar

The revised Hyundai Alcazar will be available with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine, which will replace the old 2.0L turbo petrol engine. It's the same engine that will power the new Verna. The new engine fulfils RDE (Real Driving Emission) standards, which go into effect on April 1, 2023.

It is also E20 compliant. It has a power output of 160bhp and a torque output of 253Nm. There will be two transmission options: a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The new Alcazar will have a turbo-petrol engine and will have a fuel economy of 18kmpl (MT) and 17.5kmpl (MT) (AT).

Further revisions to the 2023 Hyundai Alcazar are unlikely. The model will have the same set of features as the previous model.
