**Lambretta V125 scooter price in India** is likely to begin at an estimated Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.00 lakh onwards, which is expected to be launched by the second half of 2022 or in early 2023 in the Indian two-wheeler market space.

### Lambretta Origins and Re-entry in India:

Lambretta is an old name since 1947, and it entered India for the first time in 1972. Now with the reentry in contemporary times, it is a new addition to the advent of Italian scooter brands in India. The Innocenti S.A. company, that owns the Lambretta two-wheeler subsidiary brand which has been one of the pioneer brands in Italy and across the international market, is now coming with some new scooter products to our Indian subcontinent and the much-awaited Lambretta scooty in India is the V125 scooter model that will rival the likes of [Honda](https://www.carbike360.com/scooters/honda), **Suzuki**, **TVS**, and [Yamaha](https://www.carbike360.com/scooters/yamaha) in India.

### Lambretta V125 Scooter Design:

The V-Special range of scooters are the first true fresh designs from the legendary brand Lambretta in almost fifty years. The V-125 was built in collaboration with the design house of KISKA that also designs for [KTM](https://www.carbike360.com/bikes/ktm). It is built around a semi-monocoque chassis, and the fender looks good.

### Engine:

**Lambretta V125 scooter** model will be available in three engine options, as it will be powered with a 50cc, 125cc and 200cc displacement motors. Among the three, the last two Lambretta V125 models are expected to be retailed in the Indian scooter market, that means the 125cc Lambretta scooty and the 200cc Lambretta scooter would be sold in the country.

The V125 Special Lambretta engine uses an air cooled, single cylinder 125cc motor that churns out 10 BHP, which is enough to give a tough competition to the likes of the [Vespa LX125 scooter](https://www.carbike360.com/scooters/vespa/125).

The equipment list includes *Bluetooth connectivity, LED lights, a 12 volt charger and an LCD display console* with the speedometer as the sole analog kit which is featured as a tribute to its previous models.

It also comes with disc brakes on both the wheels, a rare feature not yet seen on any scooter manufactured in India.
