Sitting at the top of the current 110cc Honda scooter lineup in India, the Aviator gets the same engine that powers the Dio and the Activa again making it a preferred choice of the customer. The 109cc single cylinder air-cooled engine gives out 8bhp at 7000rpm and maximum torque of nearly 9Nm at 5500rpm. With Honda’s Eco Technology (HET) the scooter has a company claimed efficiency of 60kmpl which is excellent and hence the company boasts about the same upfront.The steel wheels and drum brakes are the parts of base model only. The next model gets, alloy wheels with drum brakes. And finally, the front disc brake with alloy wheels in the top model. All three offer CBS combined brakes as standard feature.For 2018 model, the Aviator also gets an LED headlamp, a metal muffler heat shield, and two hooks for bags. Moreover, it has hook on the apron and a retractable hook under the seat which enhances it practicality. The four-in-one key slot for the ignition is an addon feature. Honda has also introduced a new colour of Pearl Spartan Red which has been added to the existing colour scheme of Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Pearl Amazing White colour variants. The telescopic front forks and a single rear shock absorber gives a comfortable experience on road. The three variants are standard, alloy drum & alloy disc that Aviator offers. The Aviator competes strongly with the Yamaha Ray ZR and the TVS Jupiter MillionR edition. The Aviator is priced at Rs 53,792.
