The Honda Cliq is an affordable and automatic scooter that is targeted towards the rural and semi urban market. It is an entry-level 110cc scooter from the Japanese automaker which retailed at 43,781, making it one of cheapest available two-wheeler. The Cliq was designed to be convenient and practical with 14-litres of storage capacity, additional rear load carrier, wide floorboard, and a centre box for storage was optional. Styling was pretty straight forward, with a focus on practicality rather than styling. The scooter is embedded with a 12V headlamp with AHO feature, self-start option, mobile charging socket underneath the seat, and a maintenance-free battery as standard and primary features. The scooter was given power through 110cc engine with 8PS and 8.94Nm of peak torque. Its 3.5-litres of fuel tank capacity made it fuel efficient by giving the mileage of 60kmpl. Ensuring stability on roads the block pattern tubeless tyres, drum brakes and spring-loaded suspension at the front and rear, made the vehicle a complete package of necessary and safety features. It also featured CBS for enhanced braking system for safety purpose. Some of the styling bits were taken from the Activa 4G as well. The scooter gets faux carbon-fibre finish on the plastic panels, but in different colours which made vehicle light weighted yet bright appearance wise. It gets a handlebar like a motorcycle, the headlight and the indicators positioned in the front apron like the Honda Dio and the analogue instrumentation which included a speedometer, odometer, a fuel gauge and other indicators. The nearby area of instrumentation console gets the same pseudo carbon fibre finish. The side body panels are similar to the Honda Navi. The Cliq is light weighted of 102kgs and hence is a complete package which is affordable yet beautifully equipped with necessary features.
