Audi Launches Limited Edition E-Mountain Bike

Audi, a German luxury automotive manufacturer, has decided to enter the world of e-mobility in bicycle segment, with the launch of a limited electric mountain bicycle, powered by Fantic, at $9795 (approximately Rs 8.17 Lakh). This new addition in Audi’s portfolio of sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions is being welcomed by experts and enthusiasts all over the world.

Audi’s decision to launch the limited edition electric mountain bicycle is a reflection of the brand's rich heritage in the off-road segment. Audi has crafted a mountain bike for adventure lovers after taking inspiration from its history of events like the World Rally Championship.

Fantic powered Audi e-mountain bike, boasts a wide range of features which make it a standout performer in all kinds of terrains. With a full suspension travel of 180mm, wide wheels, and off-road tires, it is an expert in downhill riding while remaining versatile enough for touring and endurance biking. The e-bicycle is crafted around a lightweight aluminum enduro frame, it prioritises a relaxed riding position.

Powerful Propulsion System

The e-cycle features a powerful battery pack (Fantic Integra 36 Volt, 720 Wh) seamlessly integrated within the frame, complemented with distinctive e-tron branding. This battery powers the Brose S-MAG 36 Volt 250-Watt motor, delivering up to 90 Nm of torque to propel riders forward.

Customizable Riding Experience

The Audi e-mountain bike offers riders four levels of electrical assistance:

Eco: Designed for maximum efficiency and range with lesser electrical assistance.
Tour: Provides a boost for leisurely rides.
Sport: Delivers powerful assistance for svigorous cycling activities.
Boost: Offers maximum electrical assistance for tackling challenging terrain.

User-Friendly Interface

A convenient digital display mounted on the handlebars provides essential information such as battery charge and speed at a glance, ensuring riders stay informed throughout their journey. Additionally, a charge level indicator alerts riders when the battery drops below 10 percent, ensuring they never find themselves stranded mid-ride.
