Known as first modern sports bike from Bajaj, the street bike Pulsar NS200 is retailed at a price tag of Rs. 1,35,784 in India. It is made available in only 1 variant and gets strength by 200cc BS6 liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which generates a power of 24.13 bhp and a torque of 18.5 Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Anti-lock braking system remains a standard feature with both front and rear disc brakes. Positioned above the Pulsar 220F, this bike comes with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and weighs 156 kgs. The undressed motorcycle gets three new dual-tone paint schemes of Burnt Red, Pewter Grey, Satin Blue, and Metallic Pearl White paint schemes which differentiates it from the older models. The motorcycle rides on telescopic front forks and a preload adjustable rear monoshock. The braking system setup includes of a 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake along with single-channel ABS as a standard safety feature. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 competes strongly with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Yamaha FZ25 on the basis of performance.
