The Desert Sled is equipped with full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster that is compatible with the Ducati Multimedia System. The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled's safety net incorporates dual-channel Bosch Cornering ABS.

A tubular steel trellis frame serves as the motorcycle's hardware. Kayaba-sourced, fully adjustable 46mm upside-down front forks with a pre-load and rebound adjustable Kayaba rear mono-shock make up the suspension arrangement. A 330mm disc with a radial four-piston caliper in the front and a 245mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper in the back perform the anchoring duties.
