The new Multi is powered by a 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 170PS at 10,500rpm and 125Nm at 8750rpm. It can even turn off the rear cylinders when the bike is still. A 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), and Vehicle Hold Control are among the technological features (VHC). When the semi-active Skyhook Suspension (DSS) on a Ducati motorcycle detects additional weight, it can automatically level itself. The Multistrada V4 is built around an aluminium monocoque frame with a 19-inch front wheel and a double-sided swingarm that can accept both spoke and alloy wheels. The wheelbase has been reduced to 1,567mm from 1592mm. With a 220mm ground clearance, it also provides more room to play. Ducati's semi-active Skyhook Suspension (DSS) is in charge of the suspension. The bike is 10kg less than the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, weighing in at 215kg dry.There are two main models to choose from: the Multistrada V4 and the Multistrada V4 S. Both of these bikes are available in a variety of configurations (Essential, Travel, Radar, Performance, and Full) that can be ordered directly from the factory.
The Multistrada V4 has a much more crisper design than its predecessor. Its strong fuel tank can hold 22 liters of petrol, and its thin tail portion is meant to provide a better off-road riding posture.For better thermal management, the bike even has a set of ducts that route air towards the engine. A radar-based cruise control system is offered in the top-spec cars, as well as an LED headlight with cornering lights for safety. A full-color TFT instrument console with map navigation and Bluetooth connectivity is also included. You can even charge or store your phone in a convenient pocket on the tank's top.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 sits between the BMW R 1250 GS and the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, with the former being Rs 1.45 lakh cheaper and the latter being Rs 2 lakh more expensive. It has a significant advantage over its competitors because it is more powerful than both.
