Honda CB300R is an entry level super bike from Honda and was expected to launch in India in June 2021 in the price tag ranging from Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 2,75,000. Currently available motorcycles which are like CB300R are KTM 250 Adventure, BMW G 310 R & KTM 390 Duke. The new Honda CB300R is one of the latest streetfighters from the manufacturer and carries over the Neo-Sports Cafe design language that was first introduced on the CB1000R. The CB300R being a premium bike is being sold via the Japanese manufacturer's premium Wing World dealerships across the country only. Brought to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route, this bike is locally assembled at the company's domestic facility.Based on the current styling of CB1000R, it copies a neo-retro café-racer type of looks that is quite fetching and interesting. It features BS4 286cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine which generates 30bhp and 27.5Nm of peak power. It looks like a beast of a motorcycle, and the credit goes to LED lighting, headlamps, a brushed alloy shroud, a sculpted fuel tank cover and an upswept exhaust which further adds to the appeal of this entry-level superbike. The fuel tank holds 10 litres, and the body weighs 143kg. The bike has brakes which are radially mounted 4-piston calliper in the front and a floating calliper at the rear. Tyres are familiar to that of 110mm wide front and 150mm wide rear. The suspension is quite traditional with inverted forks in the front and has only preload adjustment for the rear making the overall vehicle a super performer.The CB300R will be available in black or red. It competes with the KTM 390 Duke, BME G310R and further up the price ladder, the Kawasaki Z250.
