Exterior Design

The exterior gets a wider grille of black color with a lining of chrome. The foglamps are amalgamated with the headlamps. The bumpers have black embellishments like the new version of the Grand i10. The overall design of Santro is simple with a minimalistic design yet it is a modern car retaining its tall-bot design. The rear gets new small squarish taillights and a re-designed bumper.

Engine & Performance

The Hyundai Santro has a 1,086cc inline four-cylinder petrol engine, and a second bi-fuel engine is also available (petrol and CNG). Compared to the petrol with CNG engine, which produces 59 bhp and 85 nm of torque, the petrol engine produces 68 bhp and 99 nm of torque. Both an automatic transmission and a five-speed manual gearbox are available. The CNG variant, however, is the only one that comes with a manual transmission.
