EKA Mobility has expanded its authorized dealer network to 60 dealerships across 15 states in India, with plans to add over 30 exclusive outlets soon. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the commercial electric vehicle sector and improve support for last-mile mobility solutions.
Key Highlights
- EKA Mobility operates 60 dealerships across 15 states in India
- Plans to expand to over 200 dealerships by FY27
- Annual production capacity expected to reach 15,000 buses and 24,000 small commercial vehicles
Dealership Network Expansion
The current network covers key logistics corridors, urban centres, and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. EKA Mobility targets sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics, and public transport. The expansion seeks to address challenges in electric vehicle adoption, focusing on access to sales and after-sales support infrastructure.
Each dealership features dedicated service facilities, including at least two service bays, trained staff, and spare parts availability. These facilities are designed to support fleet operators and minimise vehicle downtime.
Rohit Srivastava, Business Head and Chief Growth Officer at EKA Mobility, stated that last-mile connectivity is central to India's mobility transformation. He emphasised the importance of providing customers with reliable service and long-term support as demand for electric commercial vehicles rises.
Future Plans and Manufacturing Capacity
EKA Mobility plans to scale its dealership network to more than 200 outlets across over 20 states by FY27. In addition to expanding its network, the company offers a range of electric commercial vehicles, including three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks. The EKA Connect fleet management platform supports these vehicles.
The company is also developing a 47-acre manufacturing facility at Pithampur. Combined with existing facilities, EKA Mobility expects its annual production capacity to reach 15,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles, and 4,000 trucks.
Additional Developments
In the fourth quarter of FY26, EKA Mobility reported revenue of Rs 3,460 crore, reflecting a 16.3% increase. The company has also established an Advanced Manufacturing Lab at the Government ITI, Hassangarh in Rohtak to train skilled personnel for the sector.
