VinFast's Commitment to India
VinFast has been getting ready for entry into the Indian market. It started building its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu in February last year. This marked long-term commitment towards local production. Further, former Skoda India director Zac Hollis has been named as VinFast's Asia head, further beefing up the leadership team.
Future Plans
While details on prices and availability of the VF 7 and VF 9 for India are still awaited, VinFast has announced that more updates will be unveiled soon. Based on the expected pricing, experts believe that it will be priced competitively enough to appeal to a wide set of customers searching for electric SUVs.
