Galaxy Enters UTV & ATV tyre segment with Hulk PSX and Everest PSX

Galaxy has entered the UTV and ATV tyre market with two new off-road tyre patterns. The company launched the Hulk PSX and Everest PSX, targeting utility and recreational vehicles in global markets. This move addresses the growing demand for UTV and ATV tyres worldwide.

New tyre patterns announced

The Hulk PSX and Everest PSX tyres are designed for different off-road applications. Both patterns focus on durability, traction, puncture resistance, and ride stability. Galaxy developed these tyres for varied terrains and operating conditions.

Hulk PSX for Off-road Performance

The Hulk PSX targets off-road UTV applications. It uses a durable compound to extend service life. Reinforced sidewalls increase resistance to cuts. The tyre features radial construction for higher-speed use. Shoulder block designs improve handling and cornering. A deep tread pattern and a high tread-to-void ratio enhance traction and wear resistance on uneven terrain. The Hulk PSX range will be available in multiple sizes for 12-inch and 14-inch rims, fitting various UTV configurations.

Everest PSX for Utility Operations

The Everest PSX is developed mainly for utility-focused vehicles. Galaxy engineered this tyre for resistance to cuts, chips, and abrasions. The design also emphasizes ride comfort and operational stability. Its tread pattern reduces vibration and improves on-road performance. Enhanced wet-surface grip, rim protection, and puncture resistance support longer operating cycles. Everest PSX will be offered in sizes for 12-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch rims.

Strategic Expansion in Off-highway Tyres

Dyutiman Chattopadhyay, Chief Technology Officer at Yokohama-ATG, stated that entering the UTV and ATV segment is part of the company’s global expansion in off-highway tyres. This launch marks Galaxy’s entry into a new tyre category as demand for UTVs and ATVs rises in several regions.
