Hyundai India has recently launched the all-new 2025 Hyundai Venue. This new model marks a significant leap forward from its predecessor, bringing a modern, bold design and a host of advanced features that position it strongly in the competitive compact SUV segment. With upgraded dimensions, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced safety, this fresh iteration sets a new benchmark in Hyundai's lineup.
The Korean brand has undergone 32 dynamic, subtle changes in the 2025 Venue from the existing model, covering design changes, interior upgrades, safety enhancements, and powertrain options. It offers a thorough comparison tailored for automotive professionals and enthusiasts eager to understand what makes this new model stand out. Here are the major differences between the 2025 Hyundai Venue and the old Hyundai Venue.
The 2025 Hyundai Venue now comes with a more aggressive and premium design language compared to the outgoing model. While the previous Venue featured a softer, urban-friendly aesthetic with rounded contours, the new Venue embraces Hyundai's latest SUV styling trends seen in models like the Alcazar and Exter. It sports a substantial rectangular front grille with dark chrome inserts, quad-beam LED headlamps positioned below separate LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a prominent silver skid plate integrated into a more muscular front bumper.
Talking about its dimensions, the new Venue is taller by 48 mm and wider by 30 mm, measuring 3995 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1665 mm in height, with a wheelbase extended by 20 mm to 2520 mm. These dimensional upgrades contribute to a stronger road presence and improved cabin space. The SUV also features redesigned 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels and chunkier wheel arch cladding, enhancing its rugged appeal over the older model.
The new 2025 Hyundai Venue sets itself apart with a premium, contemporary cabin design. The old model had a simpler, more functional dashboard and traditional round air vents. The 2025 model features a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display setup. One is for the digital instrument cluster, and the other is for infotainment. The dashboard and center console have been revamped with a terrazzo-textured finish, a D-cut steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Morse code "H" logo, and a stylish coffee-table-style center console equipped with surrounding ambient lighting.
Comfort enhancements include dual-tone leatherette seats with VENUE branding, front ventilated seats, and electric adjustment with 4-way power for the driver’s seat. Rear passengers benefit from a 2-step reclining rear seat, dedicated AC vents, rear window sunshades, and Type-C charging ports.
The 2025 Venue introduces a suite of smart and premium features never seen before on this nameplate. Among standout inclusions are wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Bose premium audio system, a voice-enabled smart electric sunroof, and a wireless charging pad. The SUV also boasts over 70 Hyundai BlueLink connected car features with OTA update capability, enhancing convenience and keeping the vehicle updated with the latest software improvements.
Ambient white mood lighting integrated into the dashboard lends a sophisticated cabin atmosphere, especially at night. These technological advancements elevate the Venue 2025’s appeal to tech-savvy customers and make it a supercharged upgrade over the existing model’s more conventional cabin tech.

Safety takes a quantum leap in the new Venue with over 65 advanced safety features, including 33 standard safety features across all variants. The 2025 model introduces Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a significant upgrade over the previous generation’s basic Level-1 safety tech. This includes adaptive cruise control, driver attentiveness alert, rear parking collision avoidance assist, blind-spot view monitor, and a 360-degree surround camera system.
Standard features like six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic parking brake with auto hold, and all-disc brakes ensure comprehensive occupant protection, surpassing the safety credentials of the outgoing Venue.
The powertrain lineup remains largely retained from the old Hyundai Venue but is refined to improve performance and efficiency. It continues with the tried-and-tested 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The naturally aspirated petrol variant offers a 5-speed manual gearbox only, while the turbo petrol and diesel variants come with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. This setup balances familiarity with improved refinement and driving dynamics supported by new drive and traction modes.
The 2025 Venue’s pricing starts at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), targeting a competitive segment with feature-rich offerings that justify the premium over the outgoing model. Hyundai has maintained a well-stratified variant lineup, ensuring options for entry-level buyers while catering to premium-seeking customers through the top-end trims and the sporty Venue N Line variant, which carries enhanced styling and technology.
The new 2025 Hyundai Venue sets a fresh benchmark in the compact SUV segment with its bold design, cutting-edge technology, and advanced safety features. It not only elevates driving comfort and style but also redefines what buyers can expect in this category. For those seeking a modern, feature-packed SUV, the 2025 Venue is clearly a compelling and confident choice.
