Simple Energy has surged ahead with a 125% revenue growth in India within seven months of FY26, driven by record sales and increased production capacity.

Simple Energy has recently achieved a new benchmark in the Indian electric two-wheeler market. The Bengaluru-based startup sold around 1000 units in October 2025, surging its entire FY25 revenue by more than 125% in just 7 months of FY26. This extraordinary growth reflects the brand’s accelerating sales momentum, driven by consumer trust and innovative electric scooters like the Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS.

October 2025 marked a record-breaking month for Simple Energy, with 1,050 scooter sales nationwide. The brand’s highest-ever single-month performance. This surge accompanies expansion plans, including a 40% production hike at its Hosur plant and an increase in retail and service outlets, positioning Simple Energy as a key player in India's electric mobility in the two-wheeler segment.

Robust Sales Surges Revenue Growth

The remarkable jump in revenue is fueled by the excellent performance of Simple Energy’s flagship scooters, Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS. Both the scooters were launched in January 2025, and these models stand out with industry-leading IDC ranges of 248 km and 181 km, respectively.

The scooters also offer stylish designs and reliable performance. The strong customer preference for these scooters can be seen in the October sales figures, with 974 units registered on the Vahan portal (excluding Telangana) and an additional 76 units sold within the Telangana region.

Simple Energy: Upgrading Production and Workforce

Simple Energy has expanded its manufacturing capabilities, increasing production capacity by 40% at its state-of-the-art, 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Beyond manufacturing, the company has significantly invested in its marketing team, now comprising over 40 professionals, to support aggressive pan-India sales and brand outreach campaigns.

Simple Energy’s growth strategy extends to its retail footprint, targeting 150 retail stores and service centers across India by March 2026. Currently operational in 61 outlets across cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi, the company is preparing to foray into new metros, including Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar. This expansion ensures enhanced customer accessibility and robust after-sales support.

Innovation and Sustainability Leadership

In September 2025, Simple Energy became the first electric two-wheeler company in India to commercially produce heavy, rare-earth-free motors. This innovation maintains impressive torque and power while reducing environmental impact by eliminating rare-earth elements. The company is also gearing up for a $350 million IPO by FY27 to fund further manufacturing expansion and growth initiatives, underlining its ambition to lead India’s transition to electric mobility.

Conclusion

Simple Energy’s 125% growth milestone not only signifies its present success but also heralds an exciting future where innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainability converge to transform urban mobility across India.
