Upcoming VinFast Car Ready to Launch in India in 2026
VinFast gears up for 2026 India EV expansion with VF3, Limo Green, scooters, and buses, leveraging local production and BaaS for competitive pricing and ecosystem dominance.

VinFast, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer, is making its preparations to go to the next level in the Indian automotive market. After launching the VF6 and VF7 SUVs in 2025, the brand is gearing up to bring its first MPV to India. With a $2 billion investment and plans for a new model every six months, 2026 brings affordable micro-EVs, family MPVs, two-wheelers, buses, and riding accessories to capture diverse segments.
This aggressive expansion targets India's booming EV market, where two-wheelers dominate sales and urban demand surges for practical electrics. Backed by Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) options and localization, VinFast aims to undercut rivals while building a full ecosystem. Let’s check out the upcoming vehicles that VinFast is ready to launch in India for the 2026 season.

1. VinFast Limo Green Electric
Expected Launch Date: First Quarter of 2026

The first car to be mentioned on the list will be the upcoming Limo Green electric MPV. This will be the very first MPV to be launched by the brand in India. VinFast has already been testing this vehicle on Indian roads, and many times we have addressed the spy shots while testing. The Limo Green electric MPV is slated to launch in February 2026 as VinFast's third India model and first international market outing beyond Vietnam.
Talking about its dimensions, the car might be 4,740 mm long with a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Being an MPV, it offers 5+2 seating in a minimalist cabin dominated by a central touchscreen. Under the chassis lies the powertrain. A front-mounted motor might be able to produce 201 HP with 280 Nm of torque. This performance can be achieved with a 60.13 kWh LFP battery, claiming a 450 km NEDC range on a single charge.
2. 2026 VinFast VF3

Another car VinFast is planning to launch in the Indian market is the next-gen 2026 VF3. This micro EV will be one of the main competitors to the MG Comet. Priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, the car might get a well-compact design with a few subtle changes inside the cabin. With a compact footprint, the car is expected to offer 191 mm of ground clearance and a roof rack for 50 kg of luggage. Its rear motor produces 43.5 HP of power along with 110 Nm of peak torque. Paired with an 18.64 kWh battery for a 210-215 km NEDC range. The car can accelerate from 0 to 50 km in just 5.3 seconds.
According to industry analysts, the cabin might boast a 10-inch infotainment screen and a manual AC feature in the cabin, with BaaS to slash upfront costs. VinFast is also making plans to offer a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan.
