Exicom, a prominent leader in EV charging and critical power solutions in India, has introduced its groundbreaking Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)-enabled EV charging technology at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The new solution, named Harmony Boost, is designed to enhance India’s EV infrastructure by seamlessly integrating renewable energy sources with high-power EV charging capabilities.
Harmony Boost
India’s electric vehicle infrastructure faces significant hurdles, including grid limitations, high upgrade costs, and environmental challenges like heat, dust, and pollution. Harmony Boost addresses these issues by combining solar power, grid energy, and battery storage to deliver fast and reliable charging, even during peak demand. This innovation minimises dependency on the power grid while maximising the use of clean, renewable energy.
Key Features
This new approach has various features such as:
High Power Output
The system supports power levels of up to 400 kW per charging plug, enabling faster and more efficient EV charging.
Renewable Integration
Harmony Boost leverages solar energy and grid input, supported by BESS, to reduce carbon footprints and improve energy efficiency.
Durability in Harsh Conditions
Designed for India’s challenging environment, the system features IP65-certified liquid-cooled batteries and power electronics, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.
Distributed Charging
In addition to Harmony Boost, Exicom presented a distributed charging system at the expo. This setup offers configurations with power levels reaching up to 400 kW per plug. By integrating with Harmony Boost, the system provides advanced power-sharing capabilities, reducing charging times and boosting operational efficiency.
MD's Voice
Exicom’s Managing Director, Anant Nahata, emphasised the importance of the solution, stating:
“Achieving net-zero carbon emissions in transportation is a global priority. With Harmony Boost, we aim to meet the demand for clean energy integration while offering effective load balancing, scalability, and a superior charging experience. We remain committed to driving India’s green mobility revolution and addressing challenges for our customers and the EV charging ecosystem worldwide.”
