The investment aims to support Lithium Urban Technologies' expansion of electric fleets, charging infrastructure, and mobility technology. The company is targeting threefold growth over the next two years. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Investment to Accelerate Electric Fleet Growth

Lithium Urban Technologies operates an integrated enterprise mobility platform. This platform includes electric fleets, charging infrastructure, fleet intelligence systems, and centralized operations. The company is backed by Eversource Capital and currently manages over 25,000 trips daily. Its network consists of more than 3,000 electric vehicles and 1,300 charging points. The company serves over 100 enterprise customers across India.

According to Lithium Urban Technologies, the new investment will help expand its electric fleet and strengthen its charging infrastructure. The company also plans to further develop its technology platform. As part of its growth strategy, Lithium aims to generate between 12,000 and 15,000 new jobs over the next two years.

Rising Demand for Electric Mobility Solutions

The investment comes at a time when fleet electrification is gaining momentum in India. Sectors such as corporate employee transportation, ride-hailing, and logistics are increasingly adopting integrated fleet management and charging solutions. Lithium Urban Technologies' expansion aligns with this trend, as more operators seek sustainable mobility options.

Don Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Lithium Urban Technologies, stated that JSW Green Mobility's partnership will help accelerate electric fleet deployment and expand charging infrastructure. The partnership will also strengthen the company's technology capabilities.

JSW Green Mobility is the electric mobility arm of the JSW Group. The company said the investment aligns with its strategy to build an integrated electric mobility ecosystem. This ecosystem will span passenger vehicles, commercial fleets, battery technologies, charging infrastructure, and mobility services.

For Lithium Urban Technologies, the investment marks the next stage of growth. The company plans to scale its fleet, charging network, and operational capabilities to support India's transition towards electric mobility. Meresis Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.
