Design

Hero Splendor Plus relies on a high-tensile double cradle frame for extended durability. One of the positive aspects of its design is the 165mm ground clearance facility that helps clear all speed breakers comfortably. The bike has a decent wheelbase of 1236mm while boasting dimensions 2000mm x 720mm x 1052mm. This bike is amongst the lightest of all Hero motorcycles with a kerb weight of 110Kg. Engine – Performance and Handling

The Hero Splendor Plus brings forward Honda’s legacy by providing a high-quality air-cooled 4S single-cylinder OHC engine having a displacement capacity of 97.2cc. This BSVI compliant engine works on an advanced programme fuel injection system to deliver decent power of 5.9kW @ 8000rpm and maximum torque of 8.05Nm @ 6000rpm. In addition, this vehicle offers two ignition options, kick-start, and electric start.

The Passion Pro is a comparatively powerful bike to the Splendor Plus because its 113cc engine and xSens with programmed FI technology deliver excellent fuel economy. This BSVI compliant engine delivers 7.3kW of power and high torque on demand. In addition, the Passion Pro comes with a range of sensors that provide instant pick up, saves petrol, make it easy to climb gradients, enhance engine life, ensure all-weather start, and engine cut-off if it falls.

Safety Features

The Hero Splendor Plus has one of the most balanced body structures amongst modern bikes. The tubular double cradle frame ensures maximum durability to ensure long life. The bike offers excellent comfort to the riders because of the telescopic hydraulic front suspension and the 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers for the rear wheel. Both wheels get powerful 130mm drum brakes and 18-inch tubeless tyres to ensure a proper grip on the roads, regardless of the riding conditions.

The Passion Pro comes with a new diamond frame chassis that makes the bike light in weight and has a sturdy body frame to deliver a balanced riding experience. In addition, this bike features high-quality front suspension and rear shock absorbers to provide maximum comfort to the rider and the pillion simultaneously.

The Hero Splendor Plus offers five exciting colour options, four of which have a dual-toned look. In addition, the bike is available in four variants prices starting from Rs 63,750.

The Hero Passion Pro comes in four variants, depending on the braking structure. In addition, it offers six colour combinations, including a dual-tone look. The pricing starts from Rs 69,475.

Verdict

The Hero Splendor Plus is an ideal bike to drive on busy city roads. It is also a good bike to cruise along on highways. However, if you value style and power, you can choose the Hero Passion Pro. The cost difference is not much.
