Hero HF Deluxe

Like the other Hero commuter motorcycles, the HF Deluxe also has a compact, straightforward, and practical design. The bike has a sleek, compact body with clean and smooth creases over the body. When you look at this bike from the front, you can see a halogen headlamp paired with halogen indicators, both look pretty simple. The bodywork boasts a decent-quality fuel tank, side panels, and thin tail panel - all include the HF Deluxe’s decals that enhance the bike’s aesthetic appeal. Moreover, this motorcycle is also equipped with a single flat seat and a silver grab rail over that thin tail section.

Furthermore, the vibrant stickers on the body offer a contemporary touch. The Hero HF Deluxe is available in five various colours, including the base Black and Accent. The mid and top variants come in Black Grey Stripe, Sports Red Black, Black Nexus Blue, and Candy Blazing Red colors.

At the heart of the Hero HF Deluxe is a 97.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine. This engine produces 8.02 PS at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. It is paired with a 4-speed gearbox. This combination of lightweight design and efficient engine makes this motorcycle a good choice for daily city commuters.

This motorcycle also operates well in congested city traffic and tight streets with the adequate power it supplies for daily commutes. However, you may feel the lack of power supply at times, particularly when attempting rapid overtakes on highways.

The HF Deluxe is well known for its wonderful mileage and lower maintenance costs. The total mileage per litre it offers is 65 km. Additionally, it has a fuel tank capacity of 9.6-litres, which can provide a total range of 625 km on a full tank.

The HF Deluxe includes a halogen headlamp, taillight, and indicators. The bike has an analog instrument cluster that displays basic readouts such as the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge. It includes an optional USB charging port. The HF Deluxe also includes an optional 'side-stand engine' cut-off and and 'engine cut-off at fall' feature, which automatically turns off the engine in the event of a fall.

The top variant features an i3S, Idle Stop-Start System, which switches off the engine when the bike is idle in traffic and restarts it when you pull the clutch. It can also be switched off manually by pressing a switch on the right handlebar.

The HF Deluxe is a lightweight bike, weighing only 110kg for the kick-start version and 112kg for the self-start type. The bike is framed on a double cradle chassis which results in evenly distributed weight over the entire body for better stability.

It provides a comfortable ride quality. The telescopic front fork and two-step preload-adjustable twin rear shocks can manage most potholes and bumps. If the default settings do not suit your needs, you can change the rear shock.

The Hero HF Deluxe features a flat, single-piece seat that is nicely cushioned and provides a comfortable riding experience for both the rider and the pillion. The single-piece grip rail is easy for the pillion to hold while riding, adding to their overall comfort.

HF Deluxe has a total seat height of 805mm which is quite higher than other bikes in the same segment. However, the bike’s lightweight and slim seat makes it easy for short-height riders to keep their feet on the ground. Overall, this bike is quite easy to ride for riders with different heights.
