Hero MotoCorp reported robust domestic sales of 5,14,879 units in February 2026, marking a 44.56% year-on-year increase from 3,56,165 units in February 2025. This growth was primarily driven by the company’s commuter motorcycles, with the Splendor model leading the surge. Gains in select scooter and premium motorcycle segments also contributed to the overall sales increase.

Commuter Motorcycles Drive Growth
The Hero Splendor Plus remained the top-selling model, recording 3,21,952 units sold in February 2026. This represented a 54.96% year-on-year growth and accounted for a significant portion of the company’s total sales. The HF Deluxe followed with 71,717 units, showing a modest 1.61% increase. These two models continue to form the foundation of Hero’s domestic sales performance.
Other notable performers included the Glamour, which saw sales rise by 202.68% to 22,677 units. The Passion model posted a 28.48% increase, reaching 20,041 units. The Xtreme 125R contributed 18,481 units, reflecting a 14.24% year-on-year growth.
Scooter and EV Segment Performance

Hero’s scooter lineup showed mixed results. The Destini 125 achieved strong growth, with sales up 89.47% to 27,369 units. The Xoom 125 also posted gains, growing 129.77% to 4,168 units. The newly launched Xoom 160 added 774 units in its initial month. However, the pleasure scooter saw a decline of 39.55%, with sales dropping to 7,046 units.
In the electric vehicle segment, Hero’s Vida brand recorded sales of 14,320 units, up 133% year-on-year. This indicates rising demand for electric scooters, especially in urban areas.
Premium and Lifestyle Models
In the premium motorcycle segment, the Xpulse registered 3,602 units, marking a 112.13% increase. Higher-capacity models such as the Xtreme 250R and Karizma 210 saw limited sales, with 203 and 13 units, respectively. The Mavrick 440 recorded zero sales in February 2026, compared to 52 units in the same month last year.
