Kawasaki has unveiled the updated Ninja 650 in the overseas market, introducing new color schemes and a special edition, while retaining its core mechanical features.
New Color Schemes
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 now comes in two new vibrant color options:
- Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Royal Purple
- Metallic Matte Old School Green with Metallic Spark Black
Additionally, a new KRT Edition is available, featuring the same livery as the Kawasaki Racing Team.
Engine and Performance
The 2025 Ninja 650 continues to be powered by the same robust engine:
- Engine: 649 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin
- Max Power: 67.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm
- Peak Torque: 65.76 Nm at 6,700 rpm
- Transmission: 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch
- Riding Modes: Three selectable modes for varying riding conditions

- Mode 2: More intrusive, reducing engine output to prevent wheel spin, ideal for wet conditions
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS): Dual-channel for added safety
- KRTC Feature: Traction control can be turned off if desired
