Starting at the price of Rs. 68,821, Hero Destini 125 is available in 4 variants and 8 attarctive colours choices with top variant priced at Rs. 74,833. The Destini 125 is powered by 124.6cc BS6 engine which generates a power of 9 bhp and a torque of 10.4 Nm. Destini 125 comes with a combined braking system for both the wheels and weighs 114 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres which is quite sufficient.

This two-wheeler made its debut with a different name at the 2018 Auto Expo held in February, and finally arrived in the market after nine months in October 2019. Destini has a unique flair of its own and gets chrome under the twin indicators on the front and strips of the shiny metal on either side with muscular side panels.

The Destini 125 comes under premium 125cc scooter segment. It borrows styling from its younger sibling, the Duet 110 with its masculine bodywork along with fine lines is offered in four variants- LX, VX, Platinum and a special 100 million Edition.

The standard features include handlebar mounted headlamp with LED guide lamps and turn indicators on its front apron, external fuel filler cap and the i3S system for conserving fuel whenever required. It also gets an analogue speedometer with a small digital unit. In order to celebrate the 100 million cumulative production milestone, Hero has introduced a special-edition model that is adorned with a combination of red and white colours. The scooter faces competition from the Suzuki Access 125 and Activa 125 in the country.

Introduction

Destini 125 is available in two variants Destini LX priced at Rs 80,048 (ex-showroom) and Destini Xtec priced at Rs 86,538 (ex-showroom). The scooter is available in 7 colour schemes- Noble Red, Pearl Silver White, Matt Grey Silver, Panther Black, Chestnut Bronze, Matt Black, and Nexus Blue.

Engine and Power

The bike comes equipped with Liquid-cooled DOHC in-line 2-cylinder, which offers a displacement of 471cc. The engine boasts a maximum power of 35 kW at 8600 rpm, and a peak torque of 43 Nm at 6500 rpm.

Hero Destini comes with a fuel capacity of 5 litres. If we talk about fuel efficiency, the bike gives a mileage of 50 kmpl.

Wheel Size and Weight

The bike features a wheelbase of 1245 mm and possesses a kerb weight of 115 kg. Moreover, the suspension is controlled by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the rear.
