The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has officially launched theNinja 1100 SX in India. This ultimate sports adventure touring motorcycle is an upgraded version of its predecessor Ninja 1000SX, which is priced at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This time, the Ninja 1100 SX is upgraded with enhanced features and improved comfort for the new model of the year 2025.

Ninja 1100 SX comes in a Mettalic Carbon Grey/Mettalic Diablo Black color palette. The major upgrade of the Ninja 1100SX is its 1099cc engine with refined bi-directional quick shifter for better low RPM performance, replacing the previous 1043cc setup. The new engine has a stroke of 77mm x 59mm comparatively longer than the previous 77mm x 56mm. However, the power has been reduced by 4 hp to 136 hp, and the torque has been increased by 2 Nm. But, both peak power and torque delivery have been achieved at the lower RPMs which ultimately enhances the overall performance of the motorcycle. There are also minor adjustments in the 5th and 6th gearing for more efficient and comfortable long-distance rides.

In terms of design, the 2025 Adventure Ninja model retains the signature aesthetics of its predecessors, characterised by a sharp front fairing and dual LED headlights. The side and tail sections remain unchanged as well. However, this motorcycle is loaded with modern features such as all-LED lighting, a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple power modes, traction control, ABS, and cruise control. In addition, there is an all-new USB Type-C port added to the handlebar for convenient charging.

The chassis remains largely consistent with previous models but now boasts a larger rear disc brake for improved stopping power. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with new Bridgestone Battlax S23 tyres.
