2026 Jeep Avenger Facelift debuts early in Brazil with updated design
Jeep introduces the updated 2026 Avenger in Brazil with subtle design changes and a refreshed front fascia.

The 2026 Jeep Avenger facelift made an early appearance at a festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ahead of its official launch. The Avenger, introduced in 2022 as Jeep's smallest SUV, is available worldwide with petrol, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The latest images focus on the SUV's front end, revealing significant design updates.
Key Highlights
- 2026 Jeep Avenger facelift revealed early in Brazil
- New front grille and lighting design introduced
- Petrol, hybrid, and EV powertrains expected to continue
- EV version offers 156 HP and 400 km WLTP range
Key Exterior Changes

The 2026 Jeep Avenger facelift features a redesigned all-black grille with Jeep's signature seven-slot layout. Segmented LEDs now sit above the grille, aligning with the daytime running lights in the square-shaped headlights. This new lighting arrangement matches details shown in a recent official teaser for the model.
The front bumper has also been reworked. The central cladding is now raised and incorporates the air duct, while the fog lamps are positioned slightly lower than before. The air dam has been reshaped and is larger, and the skid plate has received minor adjustments. Jeep is expected to introduce new alloy wheel designs and update the rear styling as well.
Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged
The 2026 Avenger facelift is likely to retain its existing petrol, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The petrol model uses a 100 HP, 1.2-litre turbocharged engine, which is a slightly detuned version of the engine found in the India-spec Citroen C3. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The hybrid variants combine the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 29 HP electric motor. Buyers can choose between a 110 HP front-wheel-drive version or a 145 HP '4xe' all-wheel-drive version.
The Avenger EV features a 54 kWh battery and a front-mounted electric motor producing 156 HP. It offers a WLTP-claimed range of 400 km on a single charge.
Expected Market Impact
The Jeep Avenger remains a key model in the brand's global lineup, targeting buyers seeking a compact SUV with multiple powertrain choices. The facelifted version aims to refresh its appeal with updated exterior styling while maintaining its established engine options.
