Avore Electric debuts in India with fully localized two-wheeler technology
Avore Electric has officially entered the Indian two-wheeler market with a strong focus on localization, aiming to deliver cost-effective and efficient electric mobility solutions tailored for Indian consumers.

Samarth E-Mobility Private Limited has launched Avore Electric, its new electric vehicle brand, entering the Indian two-wheeler market. The company uses a fully localized proprietary technology stack and manufactures key components in-house to compete in the executive commuter segment. This marks Samarth E-Mobility’s first step toward commercializing a range of electric motorcycles designed with a local engineering structure.
Key Highlights
- Samarth E-Mobility launches Avore Electric for the Indian two-wheeler market
- Over 100 engineers developed nine key subsystems, including a patented battery management system
- The company filed more than 110 intellectual property applications for its proprietary technology
- Initial products target the 125cc to 200cc motorcycle segment in India
The Ahmedabad-based company has developed its own software and hardware ecosystem over the past three years at its local research and development facility. More than 100 engineers have worked on designing over nine critical vehicle subsystems internally. These include a patented battery management system, a proprietary operating system, a motor controller, an onboard fast charger, and a battery pack.
Technology and Manufacturing Approach
Avore Electric’s technology stack is called Avore Source. It operates alongside a purpose-built two-wheeler chassis layout known as the AVR platform. The company’s vertically integrated approach allows it to maintain complete control over software integration and component performance. This reduces reliance on third-party hardware and helps ensure product reliability.
To protect its engineering developments, Samarth E-Mobility has filed more than 110 intellectual property applications. The company’s independent distribution strategy relies on its own digital platforms and direct product marketing. This approach supports the upcoming distribution of Avore Electric vehicles across India.
Product Focus and Market Strategy
Avore Electric plans to target the 125cc to 200cc internal combustion engine alternative segment. This segment is one of the largest for commuter and lifestyle motorcycles in India. The upcoming electric motorcycle range is being engineered to handle real-world domestic riding conditions. The focus is on providing a practical alternative for mainstream buyers who value reliability and daily utility over imported assembled products.
Priyank Rakholiya, co-founder of Samarth E-Mobility, emphasized the importance of avoiding third-party hardware dependencies. He stated that the brand’s methodology is based on internal control of both software and hardware. This approach aims to deliver consistent component performance and integration.
The company is finalizing its production roadmap for the official launch of its first motorcycle lineup. Detailed product specifications, model variants, and marketing campaigns will be announced in the coming months. Avore Electric’s initial rollout is expected to set a new standard for localized electric two-wheelers in India.
