Ahead of its upcoming introduction in the nation, the Citroen eC3 electric hatchback has arrived at dealerships. You'll be pleased to know that test drives for the electric hatch are currently being conducted if you'd like to give it a try.
Pre-launch reservations for the electric hatchback, which has two trim levels, Feel and Live, like its counterpart powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE), have been available for some time.
Price of Citroen eC3
The electric C3 is anticipated to cost around Rs. 11 lakhs (ex-showroom). The hatchback will compete with the Tata Tiago EV once it arrives on sale and serve as a substitute for the Tigor EV.
The electric hatchback's source of power is certainly what sets the eC3 apart from the ICE C3. The front wheels are propelled by an electric motor with 57 PS that is powered by a 29.2 kWh air-cooled battery pack.
This system is said to give a 320km range that has been approved by ARAI. The hatch has fast-charging capabilities, just as every other electric vehicle sold to the general public.
Citroen has kept things relatively simple with the eC3 while competing manufacturers make an effort to guarantee that their EVs have different looks from their ICE counterparts.
Search for white accents on the bumpers and along the sides of the car to identify it as the electric version of the C3.
Even internally, everything is identical to the ordinary C3 save for the gear selector toggle.
Features and Specifications
The eC3 only provides the necessities with its 10-inch touchscreen entertainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual air conditioning, steering-mounted audio controls, and remote locking. Safety features for passengers include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
