Key Highlights

  • Maruti Suzuki XL7 facelift to launch in India by year-end.
  • Features a new chrome grille, redesigned headlights, and blacked-out taillamps.
  • Continues with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and adds a CNG option for India.
  • The expected price range is Rs 11.50 lakh to Rs 14.50 lakh.

Key Exterior and Interior Updates

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 receives a mid-life update with notable changes to its exterior design. The front features a new chrome grille with black inserts below. The headlights have been redesigned, and the fog lamp inserts now sport a new look. The side profile reveals new wheels, while the rear showcases blacked-out tail lamps.

Inside, the XL7 is not expected to undergo major design changes. However, it will likely receive several feature updates. These may include front seat ventilation, an improved 360-degree camera system, and an upgraded head-up display. For the Indian market, a larger infotainment screen is anticipated.

Engine Options and Variants

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 will continue with the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 103 HP and 136 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission. In India, the XL7 will also offer a CNG variant, likely featuring the underbody CNG tank introduced with the Victoris last year.

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 is positioned as a feature-rich and slightly larger MPV. It is expected to compete with the India-spec XL6, which will need to match the new features and design updates. The launch is likely to take place during the festival season.

Expected Pricing and Launch Timeline

The Maruti Suzuki XL7 facelift is expected to be priced between Rs. 11.50 lakh and Rs. 14.50 lakh. The official launch in India is anticipated by the end of the year, following its global debut at GIIAS 2026.
