Ducati has finally introduced the most awaited Streetfighter V4 and V4S models in the Indian market. Priced competitively at Rs 24.62 lakh and Rs 28.00 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, pan India), these twin supernakeds all are set to pave the way for excellent performance and cutting-edge technology for enthusiasts.

Design and Aesthetics

The latest offering of the Streetfighter V4 can be seen in sharp and sporty design. However subtle upgrades have for sure increased the overall visual appeal of this bike. Some important features which can easily be noticed include a pointed LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, underbelly exhaust muffler, and a slender tail section, reflecting a unique persona.

New Features and Upgrades

Though the design has remained largely unchanged, Ducatio has indeed made some enhancements in the 2024 Streetfighter V4. A large 17-litre fuel tank offers extended riding range. Along with this, a new TFT digital dash layout, inspired from Panigale V4, upgraded the riding experience, specifically in Track mode.

If we look at the update in the electronics package, we can see improvements with the addition of two new power modes: Full and Low. These two modes will come with other already available riding mode options of: High and Medium modes.
A notable improvement seen is the inclusion of cylinder deactivation technology, which goes well with the demand situation in the Indian subcontinent.

Hardware and Performance

Featuring fully adjustable Showa Big Piston front forks and a Sachs monoshock in the Streetfighter V4 , while the V4S boasts premium Ohlins NIX30 front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock—both electronically adjustable.

Brakings are handled by twin 330mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc, which is complemented by dual-channel ABS. Noteworthy is the 4mm higher swingarm pivot, facilitating smoother cornering by shifting weight forward.
Streetfighter V4 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the V4S utilises aluminium wheels, both fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tires.

Powertrain

Ducati Streetfighter range is powered by a 1,103cc V4 liquid-cooled Desmosedici Stradale engine. The engine delivers power of 208 bhp at 13,000rpm and 123 Nm at 9,500rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slip and assist clutch, the engine benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter, ensuring seamless gear transitions.
