Greaves Cotton Limited has established a regional distribution hub in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to expand its industrial and mobility business across the Middle East and Africa. The company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Greaves International Trading FZE, as part of its plan to grow its international presence.

The new entity, Greaves International Trading FZE, will operate as a regional trading and distribution hub. Its main focus is on growth markets in the Middle East and Africa. The Dubai-based unit will manage business development, technical support, supply chain coordination, channel partnerships, and aftermarket services for the region.
Greaves Cotton's product portfolio includes diesel engines, power generators, and powertrain solutions. These products serve the company's energy, mobility, and industrial divisions. The new hub will distribute these products to customers in targeted markets.
Expansion Strategy and Market Focus
Parag Satpute, Managing Director and Group CEO of Greaves Cotton Limited, said that international business is a key growth driver for the company. The new trading entity will first focus on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets. These include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
After establishing its presence in the GCC, the company plans to extend its distribution network into the Levant and African territories. The Dubai hub will support this expansion by providing localized services and efficient supply chain management.
Operational Scope and Services
The Dubai subsidiary will handle all aspects of business development and technical support for the region. It will also coordinate supply chain activities and manage partnerships with local channels. Aftermarket services will be available to support customers after the sale of products.
This move aligns with Greaves Cotton's broader strategy to increase its global footprint. The company aims to strengthen its position in international markets by leveraging the new hub's strategic location and resources.
