Hero MotoCorp has discontinued the Xpulse 200 2V from its series in India. The model has been canned from the manufacturer’s website. There are only the 200 4V and 200T now being listed as part of the Xpulse series. In order to steamline the Xpulse series and to conduct the launch of 300cc ADV that has been tested recently,Hero ceased the Xpulse line up. However, Hero has not mentioned the reason behind the discontinuation.
The Xpulse lineup now includes the Xpulse 200 4V, costs at Rs 1,37,496, while the entry-level Xpulse 200T priced at Rs 1,24,396. Few months earlier,teasers were released with regard to a new Xpulse 200TIt is speculated that new 4-valve engine will be associated to new Xpulse,however,Hero has not updated the customers since then.
The two-valve Xpulse 200 was powered by a 199.6cc single cylinder engine that put out 16.45Nm at 6,500rpm and 17.8hp at 8,500rpm. However,As compared to the four-valve version,these figures were down by 1.3hp and 0.9Nm.
We’ve made contact to Hero regarding the discontinuation of the Xpulse 200 2V. Hero has not given any response yet.
