Honda Motorcycles and Scooters in India have achieved a remarkable milestone by completing 25 years of operations in India. At this historical date, the company has decided to wrap up the most anticipated motorcycle named CB123 Hornet. With this official debut, the brand also revealed the all-new Honda Shine 100 DX. This double delight is Honda’s way of thanking millions of Indian customers who've driven its extraordinary legacy since 2000.
As per the reports, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Today marks an important chapter in HMSI’s journey in India. As we celebrate 25 glorious years, it gives me immense pride to unveil not just one but two new motorcycles that represent Honda’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric approach. The introduction of the CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX reaffirms our promise of bringing hi-tech mobility solutions for the Indian market."
"This celebration also resonates with Honda’s global achievement of the 500 million production milestone and HMSI’s 70 million production landmark. Under Big Wing’s iteration, the 2025 Honda CB125 Hornet will commence with bookings from August 1, 2025. The company hasn't revealed anything about the pricing of the bike. Here's everything you need to know about the bike.
The all-new 2025 Honda CB125 Hornet is designed for new generation riders. For these urban youth, the CB125 Hornet arrives with aggressive streetfighter styling. The front fascia of the bike offers sharp twin-LED headlamps with DRLs along with LED-tuned indicators. With bold graphics running through the body contours, the bike also gets a muscular fuel tank and a stylish muffler.
Raising the bar for its class, it boasts premium features like upside-down (USD) front forks, a fully digital TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity via Honda’s RoadSync app, and an attractive split seat design.
The CB 125 Hornet is powered by a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD2B-compliant engine that produces 8.2 PS of power at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm. This refined engine is mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is capable of moving from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.4 seconds.
With a powerful engine, the CB125 Hornet also offers race aesthetics, an aggressive design, and enhanced features. These features are as follows:
The official prices have not been disclosed by the brand. Although the bike will be available in a single variant as a standard option for customers. However, the company has introduced 4 new exciting colors, such as Pearl Siren Blue with Leman Ice Yellow, Pearl Ingenious Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red.
