Honda’s First Electric Bike “E-VO” Launched in China
The all-new Honda E-VO has a dual 7-inch TFT display with one screen for navigation, music, and battery status. The smaller battery pack option has only a front dashcam, while the larger one also features a rear dashcam.

Honda, the Japanese two-wheeler brand, in collaboration with Guangzhou-based Wuyang, has launched its first electric bike, E-VO, in China. The model is offered under the Wuyang-Honda brand and is available in dual and triple-battery setups.

Honda E-VO Battery & Range
The joint venture between Wuyang and Honda launched the all-new E-VO electric motorcycle in two variants: a 4.1 kWh dual battery and a 6.2 kWh triple battery configuration. The smaller battery pack is said to have 143 kg of curb weight and offer 120km of WMTC range, while the top-spec variant has 156kg of curb weight and can deliver 170 km of top range. Based on company details, the smaller battery pack can be charged 1-1.5 hours with a car or home charger, whereas the larger battery pack takes 1.5 hours with a fast charger and 2.5 hours with a home charger.

Honda E-VO Powertrain
Honda’s first electric bike is built on a forged all-aluminum frame and rides on 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels wrapped with 110/70 and 170/70 section tires. The brand has provided an electric motor setup in both variants with a peak power delivery of 15.8 kW and a 120 km/h top speed.
The electric bike also has regenerative braking features and three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. To keep the motorcycle accessible to various riders, the two-wheeler manufacturer has kept the seat height at 765mm.

Honda E-VO Price
In China, the Honda E-VO (4.1 kWh variant) is priced at CNY 30,000 (approx Rs 3.56 lakh), while the 6.2 kWh variant of the Honda E-VO is available at CNY 37,000 (approx Rs 4.39 lakh). The model is currently launched in the Chinese two-wheeler market, but there is no update on whether the brand will introduce it in international markets like Japan and India.
