The Hyundai Aura facelift has been unveiled in India, with introductory prices starting at Rs 6.29 lakh for the base petrol E model and rising to Rs 8.87 lakh for the CNG SX variant.

Earlier this month, the Korean manufacturer started bookings for the facelifted Aura for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000. Hyundai also recently unveiled the redesigned Grand i10 Nios.
Hyundai Aura facelift highlights
Exterior
The Aura now has a new front-end appearance with a more upright nose and a two-part grille as part of the refresh. The tiny sedan also gets new inverted L-shaped LED DRLs located at the bumper's corners, however, it no longer has fog lights.
Interiors
Its sides and back, on the other hand, remain unchanged, with the same design for the 15-inch alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. The boot-lid spoiler is also present in all trim levels save the basic.
Hyundai's compact car now comes in a new Starry Night colour, which replaces the previous model's Vintage Brown choice. The interior arrangement stays unchanged, but there is new upholstery for the seats, new lighting for the footwell region, and a reworked instrument cluster.
Hyundai Aura facelift engine performance
The Aura facelift receives no changes under the hood since it retains the same 1.2-litre engine. This engine produces 83hp and 114Nm when coupled to a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission.
Furthermore, Hyundai is selling a factory-fitted CNG kit with the Aura's 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 69hp and 95Nm of torque and is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
All powertrains are now RDE-compliant and ready for E20 gasoline. However, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produced 100hp and 172Nm of torque is no longer available in the facelifted compact car.
Hyundai Aura facelift variants and features
The updated Aura comes in five trim levels: E, S, SX, SX(O), and SX+, with a slew of improved convenience and safety features over the previous generation.
It now comes standard with four airbags, ABS, and EBD; higher variants receive six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages, hill-hold assist, and automated headlights.
The compact sedan has an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, adjustable back headrests, automatic climate control, and a wireless charger in terms of convenience features.
Higher-spec models, on the other hand, now include additional amenities such as Type-C charging outlets and a redesigned 3.5-inch MID in the instrument cluster.
Hyundai Aura Facelift Rivals
The facelifted Aura competes in the market with small sedans such as the Tata Tigor (Rs 6.10 lakh-8.84 lakh), Honda Amaze (Rs 6.89 lakh-9.48 lakh), and Maruti Suzuki Dzire (Rs 6.24 lakh-9.18 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi).
