Hyundai Motor India has recently experienced a robust performance in October 2025. The South Korean automaker reported total sales of around 69,894 units in October 2025. These figures include 53,792 units sold in the domestic market, while 16,102 units were sold in the past month. These figures have made Hyundai have 11% export growth. The Creta and Venue models were pivotal, notching their second-highest ever monthly figures.
Hyundai car sales reached new heights in October, driven by festive seasons such as Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali, as well as the implementation of government GST 2.0 reforms that stimulated both retail and wholesale performance across segments. However, on an M-o-M basis, Hyundai faced a decline when compared to 70,347 units sold in September 2025.
In October 2025, Hyundai India surged 11% year-on-year in sales in October 2025. The most highlighted factor of Hyundai's sales performance is its SUV models, particularly the Creta and Venue. These two models accounted for a record 30,119 units sold—making them the month’s top performers in Hyundai’s lineup. The SUV segment continues to form the backbone of Hyundai’s strategy, with anticipation for the imminent launch of the refreshed Venue set to further stimulate demand.
The recent festive season and new tax reforms have bolstered the sudden sales hike of the Hyundai SUV cars. Speaking about such a milestone, Mr. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer, said, “October 2025 was a month driven by the festivals of Dusshera, Dhanteras, and Diwali, further complemented by the positive impact of the GST 2.9 reforms. These both provided a significant boost to the Indian automotive industry.”
He later added, “At Hyundai, we witnessed robust market demand and high consumer enthusiasm leading to the second highest monthly sales of our SUV duo—the Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Venue. Both conquered around 30,119 units sold in October 2025.”
