Kawasaki India Introduces K-Care Bundled Warranty and Maintenance Plan
Kawasaki India’s K-Care programme combines a four-year extended warranty with annual maintenance, covering eight services and genuine parts. Pricing varies by model, and the plan is transferable but has strict eligibility and exclusions.

Kawasaki India has launched K-Care, a bundled after-sales programme that combines an extended warranty with an annual maintenance contract. This initiative aims to make ownership costs more predictable for customers by packaging warranty extension and scheduled maintenance into a single upfront payment. The programme is available at all authorised Kawasaki service centres across India.
Key Highlights
- Kawasaki K-Care bundles extended warranty and annual maintenance for four years
- Covers eight preventive maintenance services and up to 50,000 km from purchase date
- Pricing ranges from Rs 26,741 for W175 to Rs 1.15 lakh for Ninja H2 SX
- Plan is transferable and may enhance resale value for used motorcycles
- Strict eligibility rules and exclusions apply including no roadside assistance
Programme Coverage and Benefits
K-Care offers a total of four years of warranty coverage, which includes one extra year over the brand’s standard three-year warranty. The warranty is valid for up to 50,000 km from the date of purchase. In addition, the package includes four years of periodic maintenance, covering eight preventive maintenance services. Each service includes a change of Kawasaki genuine oil and the use of genuine spare parts.
The plan is transferable if the motorcycle is resold, which can enhance the resale value. A used motorcycle with remaining service-plan value and warranty cover may be more attractive to potential buyers. Kawasaki presents K-Care as a cost-saving option, stating that it is cheaper than purchasing the extended warranty and eight services separately. The company claims a 15 percent saving for most models and a 10 percent saving for the W175.
Pricing and Eligibility Details
The pricing of K-Care varies by model. The W175 package costs Rs. 26,741, the Ninja 300 is priced at Rs. 43,600, the Ninja 650 at Rs. 46,500, the Z900 at Rs. 70,000, and the Ninja H2 SX at Rs. 1.15 lakh. The plan covers the most relevant early years of use for most owners, helping them manage predictable maintenance events and warranty expenses before prices increase over time.
Strict eligibility rules apply. Customers must purchase K-Care, the extended warranty, and the annual maintenance contract on the same date as the sales invoice, before the first service, or within 30 days of the sales invoice date. The programme is not available for old motorcycles or those already sold in the market.
Limitations and Exclusions
K-Care does not cover repairs or replacements outside the annual maintenance contract service. Accident-related claims and accidental repair work are excluded. Roadside assistance is not included in K-Care, the extended warranty, or the annual maintenance contract. Buyers should be aware of these limitations to avoid assuming broader support than the package provides.
Kawasaki’s K-Care helps ensure proper maintenance history and parts traceability by encouraging customers to use authorised service centres. This approach supports disciplined servicing, which is important for premium motorcycles that require model-specific consumables and higher dealer-level labour costs.
