Maserati India has geared up to expand its business portfolio in India. The brand has officially launched the much-anticipated MC Pura and MC Pura Cielo in India. The mid-powered supercar signifies a major stride in Italian body contour with high-performance electric mobility. The MC Pura Coupe is launched with an introductory price of Rs 4.12 crore. Whereas the Cielo comes at Rs 5.12 crore (ex-showroom) in India.
The MC Pura stands as Maserati’s bold interpretation of the future, blending timeless design, luxurious craftsmanship, and cutting-edge EV innovation. However, the iteration of both supercars was introduced in the Indian automotive market earlier this year and is just the evolution of the MC20. It merges next-generation battery technology with a refined interior, redefining what a modern Maserati represents on Indian roads.
Aerodynamically-Rich Design
Talking about the design of the vehicle, the all-new MCPura offers more aggressive and aero-enhancing design changes. The front fascia of the car showcases a sculpted silhouette. Its aerodynamic profile follows the curves running through the body contours, and signature Trident detailing creates balance between elegance and aggression.
The car’s adaptive aerodynamic system adjusts based on driving mode, ensuring optimal performance without compromising aesthetics. Furthermore, to improve the speed and efficiency of the car, the design of the front splitter has been tweaked. Even the air intakes placed under the headlights are less prominent. The badging on the exterior has been last updated with a new grill finish, and the Trident signature logo appears on the grill and on the pillar.

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, both MC Pura and MC Pura Cielo come with the same power unit in India. Both vehicles are powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged ‘Nettuno’ V6 engine that generates 621 HP and 719 Nm of peak torque. The power is drawn to the rear wheels and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in under 3 seconds. The advanced 800V battery architecture ensures rapid charging and a range exceeding 500 km, providing effortless long-distance gran turismo usability alongside thrilling responsiveness. The top speed of the Cielo is estimated to be about 325 km, and the top speed Coupe can cover the same distance in 2.9 seconds.
Interior and Technology

Inside, the MC Pura combines Italian luxury with digital sophistication. The car offers hand-stitched leather, Alcantara, and carbon-fiber elements that create a cockpit designed both for comfort and control. On the dashboard, the car boasts an all-new 12.3-inch curved infotainment system, which is integrated with Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA).
The electric torque also offers different dynamic driving modes—including GT, Sport, Corsa, and Max Range. These modes allow the driver to tailor the experience from relaxed cruising to track-ready performance. With precision handling and instant torque response, the MC Pura preserves Maserati’s legendary driving emotion in a new electric form.
Conclusion
The Maserati MC Pura and MC Pura Cielo mark a new era of electrified luxury and performance in India. It offers an emotionally captivating and environmentally friendly driving experience by fusing cutting-edge technology, Italian craftsmanship, and thrilling dynamics.
