Mercedes-Benz is set to introduce two new high-end vehicles to the Indian market on August 8th, 2024. The AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe and CLE Cabriolet will join the company's lineup, catering to the growing demand for premium vehicles in the country. Both AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe and CLE Cabriolet will be imported as Completely Built Units (CBUs), which may result in premium pricing. Following a strong performance in India, including record sales in the first half of the year, Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe and CLE Cabriolet, particularly notable in their Top-End Vehicle (TEV) segment.
The CLE Cabriolet will be the third convertible offering from Mercedes-Benz in India, joining the AMG E 53 Cabriolet and AMG SL 55 Roadster.

Key features of the CLE Cabriolet include:
• Based on the MRA platform shared with C-Class and E-Class
• 4-seater coupe design
• 11.9-inch portrait-style infotainment screen
• 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
• Latest MBUX system
The AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe, a performance-oriented version of the GLC SUV, boasts several enhancements:
• Sporty AMG grille and bumpers
• 21-inch wheels
• AMG-specific side skirts and large diffuser
• Quad exhausts
• AMG-specific steering wheel and sporty seats

The new AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe replaces its predecessor's 3.0L V6 engine with a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine featuring mild hybrid technology. This power plant delivers 421 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.7 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 9-speed gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
Additional performance features include rear-wheel steering, active suspension, variable steering feel, and high-performance brakes. These new launches aim to capitalize on the growing demand for luxury vehicles in India, where Mercedes-Benz's TEV segment already accounts for over 25% of its total sales.
