Netradyne partners with NHEV to boost safety on India’s electronic Hhghways
Netradyne joins hands with NHEV to improve road safety across India’s electronic highways using AI-powered monitoring and smart mobility solutions.

Netradyne has partnered with National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) to improve safety and intelligence on India’s electronic highway corridors. This collaboration will deploy Netradyne’s AI-powered fleet safety and performance technology in phases across the expanding e-highway network.
Key Highlights
- Netradyne partners with NHEV to deploy AI fleet safety technology on electronic highway corridors
- NHEV aims to expand e-highway infrastructure to 26 corridors across India by 2027
- AI platform provides real-time risk detection and driver behaviour analytics for commercial EVs
- Initiative supports policy development and builds trust for long-distance EV adoption
AI Technology for Fleet Safety
The initiative introduces real-time visibility, predictive risk detection, and driver behavior insights for commercial electric vehicles (EVs). Netradyne’s platform will monitor vehicles and drivers, providing operational oversight at the corridor level. This technology aims to reduce accidents, detect risks early, and improve operational reliability for both fleet operators and passengers.
NHEV plans to expand its integrated e-highway infrastructure to 26 corridors by 2027. The infrastructure combines charging, energy management, digital systems, financing, and operational support. The goal is to create a commercially viable, long-distance EV ecosystem in India.
Building a Connected Mobility Ecosystem
Abhijeet Sinha, Program Director at NHEV, stated that the E-Highway vision extends beyond charging infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of building a connected and trusted mobility ecosystem to gain the confidence of the commercial EV and freight transport sector. Sinha highlighted that the electronic layer will play a key role in improving driver safety, reducing accidents, enabling predictive risk detection, and strengthening operational reliability.
Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President for EMEA & APAC Business at Netradyne, said the company’s role is to provide real-time intelligence for better driver safety, fleet visibility, and operational responsiveness. He noted that early detection of driver fatigue, unsafe behavior, and vehicle distress can help reduce road risk and make long-haul EV operations safer and more reliable.
Supporting Policy and Industry Adoption
The partnership also supports policy development by providing real-world validation for India’s connected mobility priorities. For fleet operators and financiers, the initiative aims to create a trust framework for long-distance EV adoption. This framework focuses on improving safety, increasing uptime, and ensuring asset reliability.
The service is available to all car owners through a dedicated helpline. It includes support such as towing, flat tyre assistance, and battery help. The collaboration is part of a broader effort to make India’s highways safer and more efficient for electric vehicles.
