Oben Rorr EVO Launched in India at ₹99,999 With 180 km Range and Smart Features

Oben Electric has introduced the Rorr EVO electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 buyers. Bookings are now open for ₹777. Test rides and deliveries will begin in June 2026 across Oben’s 150 dealerships nationwide.

Key Features and Performance

The Rorr EVO features a streetfighter-inspired design with aggressive styling, muscular body panels, and a projector LED headlamp. Oben offers the motorcycle in four colours: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Photon White, and Magnetic Black.

The motorcycle is powered by a 9 kW electric motor paired with a chain drive. It achieves a claimed top speed of 110 km/hr. Oben states the Rorr EVO can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/hr in 3 seconds. The IDC-certified range is 180 km on a single charge, supported by a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack. This battery type offers improved heat resistance and longer life compared to standard lithium-ion batteries.

Technology and Practicality

The Rorr EVO introduces SmartIQ ride mode, an AI-based system that adapts power delivery based on real-time rider behaviour. Oben claims SmartIQ can increase range by up to 15 percent. Riders can select from Eco, City, and Havoc ride modes to suit different riding styles.

Charging is efficient with the Oben Plug fast charger, which charges the battery from 0 to 80 percent in 90 minutes. A full charge takes about 5 hours. The motorcycle includes reverse mode, dual USB charging ports, and 10 litres of storage split between the tank pod and under-seat compartment.

Comfort and daily usability are key focuses. The Rorr EVO has a 680 mm long seat, a 780 mm seat height, and 200 mm ground clearance. Suspension is managed by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with Unified Brake Assist for safety.

Connectivity and Warranty

The Rorr EVO comes with a 5-inch TFT display supporting navigation, call alerts, text notifications, and ride statistics. Through the Oben app, riders can access live bike tracking, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection, and emergency fall alerts. Oben offers an 8-year battery warranty for added long-term assurance.
