In a bold move to challenge big tech giants and bolster Indian innovation, Ola Maps has unveiled a significantly reduced pricing structure. This announcement follows Google's recent price cuts and demonstrates Ola Maps' commitment to offering world-class alternatives.
New Pricing Structure
Starting today, Ola Maps introduces the following pricing plans:
- 5 Million Free API Calls/Month for All: This generous offer is designed to support almost all startups in India.
- 50% Off Google's Reduced Prices for Larger Volumes: Making high-volume usage more affordable.
- 2 Years Free for Long-Term Commitments: Any customer signing a 3+ year commitment will receive two years free of charge.
- 3 Years Free for Startups and SMBs on ONDC: Supporting small and medium-sized businesses and startups on the ONDC platform with an extended free period.
Comprehensive API Support and Future Roadmap
Ola Maps currently supports all main APIs. By December, the platform aims to be feature-complete, covering all kinds of APIs, SDKs, and niche use cases. This will ensure that developers and businesses have access to a comprehensive suite of tools to build innovative solutions.
Empowering Indian Innovation
"We are excited to empower Indian startups and businesses with our new pricing structure and future product roadmap," said the spokesperson for Ola Maps. "Our goal is to build world-class alternatives to big tech giants and drive Indian innovation forward."
