Porsche has officially launched the 2023 Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe facelift in India. With prices starting from ₹1.36 crore for the Cayenne SUV and ₹1.41 crore for the Cayenne Coupe (ex-showroom, India), the updated range brings refreshed styling and enhanced features. These models were globally introduced earlier this year, and India's order books were opened as early as April. Deliveries are set to begin shortly.
Exterior Upgrades: Refreshed Styling
The 2023 Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe receive a mid-lifecycle update, showcasing refreshed styling elements. Both models feature a new bonnet, revised front and rear bumpers, and a redesigned headlamp with LED DRLs. The LED taillights have also been revised, now connected by a light bar running across the tailgate.
Porsche offers a range of new alloy wheel options, ranging from 20 to 22 inches. Additionally, the SUV receives four new paint options, including Algarve Blue Metallic, Montego Blue Metallic, and Arctic Grey, enhancing its visual appeal.
Powertrain and Performance
Powering the 2023 Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe is an updated 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 348 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. Compared to its predecessor, the power output has increased by 12.8 bhp and 50 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. The SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 248 km/h.
Interior Enhancements and Technology
Inside the 2023 Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe facelift, notable upgrades await. The driver is greeted by a new 12.6-inch curved display, while the centre console boasts a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
A third 10.9-inch screen provides data and controls for the passenger. Additional enhancements include a new drive mode selector, a 911-inspired steering wheel, an air purifier, a toggle-style gear selector, and new USB Type-C ports located at the front and rear.
Features and Electronic Aids
The 2023 Porsche Cayenne range is equipped with an array of features and electronic aids. Highlights include Matrix LED headlamps, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), adaptive air suspension, six-piston aluminium monobloc brake callipers, and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, the SUV offers electrically adjustable sports seats, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a 10-speaker 150-watt sound system.
Furthermore, Porsche provides a range of optional extras for customers to personalize their Cayenne according to their preferences. Additionally, the Cayenne E-Hybrid variant is expected to be introduced by Porsche India later this year, further expanding the lineup.
