Range Rover Velar Bookings Open in India and deliveries will start from September 2023

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced the opening of bookings for the highly anticipated Range Rover Velar in India. The new Velar will be available in the Dynamic HSE variant, offering two powertrain options to choose from. With its refined design, advanced technology, and strong performance, the Velar aims to make its mark in the luxury SUV segment, competing against rivals such as the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F Pace.

Range Rover Velar Engine and Power

The Range Rover Velar is available in two variants, with two engine options and one transmission option. You can choose between the R-Dynamic S petrol or diesel variant, both of which come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain. The petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 243bhp and 365Nm of torque, while the diesel variant gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that delivers 198bhp and 430Nm of torque.

The Range Rover Velar has a sleek and sophisticated exterior, with sleek LED headlamps, a large honeycomb mesh grille, a sloped roof and a raked D-pillar. The vehicle also features 20-inch glossy silver alloy wheels, U-shaped LED taillamps and an integrated exhaust finisher. Moreover, the vehicle’s infotainment, telematics and various control modules can all be updated with a remote software update.

The Range Rover Velar also offers a range of safety and convenience features, such as six airbags, 360-degree surround cameras, wade sensing, all-terrain progress control, air suspension, adaptive dynamics, ISOFIX and more. The Range Rover Velar has an NCAP rating of five stars, which means it is one of the safest vehicles on the road.
