Unveiling the Megane E-Tech
Derived from the 2020 Megane eVision concept, the Megane E-Tech showcases a refined design with cladding along the lower periphery and contrasting inserts on the bumpers, complementing its exterior color. The interior boasts Renault's OpenR display, featuring a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 12-inch portrait-style infotainment touchscreen.

Power-packed Performance on CMF-EV Platform
Sitting on the CMF-EV platform, the Megane E-Tech offers versatility with multiple battery pack options – 40kWh and 60kWh. The electric vehicle comes with two motor outputs: a base 130hp and 250Nm, or a more potent 218hp and 300Nm. Renault claims an impressive range of up to 470km, depending on the chosen battery configuration.
European Rivals and Indian Aspirations
In European markets, the Megane E-Tech competes with prominent electric vehicles such as the Hyundai Kona Electric, Mini Cooper SE, and Kia Niro EV. Despite its success in Europe, Renault's plans for introducing the Megane E-Tech in India remain uncertain, and no official launch details are available at the moment.
Renault's EV Strategy in India
Renault is actively exploring opportunities in the Indian EV landscape, with considerations for an entry-level EV based on the CMF-A EV platform.
