Royal Enfield is all ready to expand its parallel-twin middleweight motorcycle line-up. Like the other 650cc lineup of RE motorcycles, the manufacturer has decided to use the premium quality CEAT Tyres for its Shotgun 650. Here are the important details on the tyre options to be available in Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, which will be launched by RE by the end of January 2024.
Tyres and Wheels: Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield is presenting its Shotgun 65o with 18-inch spoke wheels which are wrapped with 100/90-18 tyres at the front and 130/70-18 tyres at the rear, just like the one you can find in Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. Both the tube tyres are CEAT Zoom Cruz. CEAT has specially designed this tyre for the 650cc range of Royal Enfield.

The CEAT Zoom Cruz which is made specifically for the 650cc range, has the capability of holding traction excellently on wet surfaces. CEAT has designed a premium tire that will offer the best level of comfort and balanced performance to the riders. Zoom Cruz tyres offer dual center grooves, advanced circumferential shoulder grooves for better handling, and extended lateral grooves from center to shoulder for better traction.
Engine Specification: Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

The new Shotgun 650 has an air-cooled, parallel-twin, 648cc engine, just like the other middleweight Royal Enfield parallel-twin motorcycles. This engine is tuned differently than the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650 when paired with a 6-speed transmission. However, the power and torque outputs, which have not yet been revealed, should be comparable to those of the other three motorcycles at 52.3 Nm and 47 bhp, respectively.
