Simple Energy Launches OneS Electric Scooter with 181 km Range & 105 km/h Speed

​Simple Energy has launched their new electric scooter, which is priced at INR 1,39,999. Simple Energy’s OneS is a high-performance electric scooter that is positioned as the quickest and longest-range electric scooter in its segment, with an IDC-certified range of 181 km and a top speed of 105 km/h.

The OneS is equipped with an 8.5kW PMSM motor and a 3.7 kWh fixed battery, along with offering a rapid acceleration from 0-40 km/h in 2.55 seconds when riding in sonic mode. This electric scooter also features other modes such as Eco, Ride, & Dash alongside Sonic mode.

The OneS resembles its predecessor with respect to sporty aesthetics, introducing new upgrades on the side. The upgrades include 35-litre underseat storage and 770 mm seat height. The OneS is available in 4 colours, namely, Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.

The technological advancements in the OneS include a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard that supports 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, app integration, and over-the-air updates.

The safety features the OneS comprises are: find my vehicle, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), regenerative and rapid braking system, and park assist with forward and reverse movement.

With the launch of the OneS, the company will discontinue the Dot One to streamline the lineup and continue focusing on advanced EV technology. Simple Energy is currently offering two models, namely, Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS. The brand aims to establish 150 new retail stores and 200 service centres across 23 states by FY 2026.
